All eyes are on the poor woman who had to spend a whole 6 days behind bars. Some people are using words such as courageous and faithful to describe the woman who refused to have her name on marriage licenses belonging to two people of the same sex. To be completely honest, it makes me sick. This “brave” woman is using her faith to discriminate against people she doesn’t agree with. In any other job position, if a person is not able to do their job, they are fired or moved to a different role that they can do but for whatever reason, this woman is being allowed to keep her job after refusing to do her job based on her religious beliefs. What I truly don’t get is how Kim and her supporters think they are taking the high road knowing Kim has been married four times! So forget the sanctity of marriage Kim you don’t get to use that argument anymore so are you now using the decree that forbids homosexuality in the Bible? Okay, I can understand that a true Christian would be against homosexuality since it does forbid the practice but don’t use the “marriage is sacred” argument because you already wiped your ass with that belief. Instead, using the belief against homosexuality to forbid happy people from getting married this woman is allowed to keep her job and hasn’t been impeached yet. What about keeping religion out of politics? I guess this is Kentucky we are talking about so it isn’t too surprising that Kim Davis is being declared a hero in Kentucky, home of the Creation Museum. What I truly believe is behind the argument supporting Kim is the belief that Christians are being criminalized because they aren’t allowed to criminalize homosexuals, transgender people, Muslims, atheist, and anyone that doesn’t agree with the Bible.
